SEE ME SEE YOU
My drawings are sites of translation where ink, graphite, and charcoal are used to reflect the bodily collision between invisibility and hypervisiblity experienced by women of color. Our bodies exist in an uneasy social space, corporeal and yet at times insubstantial; I use portraiture as a means of communication from within that perspective.
